Common support questions
Brush off surface mildew outdoors. Apply a canvas-safe cleaner, scrub gently, rinse thoroughly, and dry in direct sunlight. Staining may remain permanently — this is cosmetic only and doesn't affect performance. See our full care guide.
This is normal for new canvas. Set it up, soak with a garden hose, let it dry completely — repeat 2–3 times. The needle holes close as the cotton fibers swell. After weathering in, seams will be watertight.
The tent must be completely dry before storage. Store loosely folded in a breathable bag in a cool, dry, ventilated space. Never store in a sealed plastic bag or airtight container. Keep away from rodents.
No. Do not apply aftermarket waterproofing sprays. They seal the canvas, destroy breathability, and cause condensation — especially with a wood stove. Canvas becomes more water-resistant naturally over time. Trust it.
