Shipping policy

Canvas wall tents are large, heavy items. Our shipping policy reflects the realities of moving a made-to-order tent from our Denver shop to your base camp.

Lead Time

Every Colorado Tent Company product is made to order. Current lead time is 3–6 weeks from order placement. Lead times extend during peak hunting season (July–October) and may be shorter in the off-season.

If you have a firm deadline — a hunt date, camp opening, or event — call us before ordering at (303) 399-3232 so we can confirm where we stand in the production queue.

Shipping Carriers & Methods

We ship via UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers depending on the size and weight of the order. Standard wall tents typically ship via UPS or FedEx ground. Large tent orders, frame packages, and commercial orders may ship by LTL freight.

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination ZIP code. For unusually large or heavy orders, we may contact you before shipping to confirm carrier and rate.

Domestic Shipping

We ship to all 50 US states. Remote addresses (Alaska, Hawaii, rural areas requiring special delivery) may incur additional charges. We will contact you before shipping if unusual freight costs apply.

Canada & International

We ship to Canada and handle international orders on a case-by-case basis. For orders outside the US, contact us before placing your order so we can confirm shipping feasibility and cost. Canvas tents are large, heavy items — international freight costs are significant and vary by destination.

Duties, taxes, and customs brokerage fees for international orders are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in shipping charges.

Tracking

Tracking information is emailed when your order ships. Most orders arrive within 3–7 business days of shipping. If you haven't received tracking information within your expected ship window, contact us.
