The proportions on the Traditional Tipi haven't changed because they don't need to. Wide base, steep pitch, smoke flap configuration that ventilates naturally and sheds weather cleanly. Ours is cut from Army Duck canvas in our Denver shop.

With a wood stove and the liner (sold separately), it holds heat well into winter. Without the liner, it's a solid three-season shelter. It's stable in wind in a way modern dome and tunnel tents aren't. Once you've slept in one, the comparison isn't close.

Add the optional floor and you've got a legitimate four-season setup. Liner and floor sold separately. Pole set not included. Lifetime warranty.
