10.10 oz Sunforger®
Cotton Duck Canvas

The material that built this company's reputation across 135 years. When cotton duck gets wet, the fibers swell and the weave tightens — it becomes more waterproof. It breathes naturally, regulates temperature, and repairs with a needle and thread in the field.

Our story

The same craft.
135 years later.

Colorado Tent Company has been making canvas tents in Denver since 1890. When most of the industry moved to synthetic, we stayed with cotton duck — because it breathes, ages beautifully, and lasts long enough to outlive the person who bought it.

"The Largest Duck Goods House in the West" — our 1907 tagline. We're still earning it.
Chris Davis, COO — Third-Generation Tentmaker
Chris's grandfather ran this shop during its 1950s peak. Today Chris is on the floor every day — cutting, consulting on custom orders, and developing new techniques alongside our sewing team.
Press & Recognition

Recognized for craftsmanship — not marketing.

We didn't pitch any of these. They found us because of 135 years of doing things right.

The last tent you'll ever buy

Buy once.
Use for decades.

There are cheaper tents. There are lighter tents. There are none that will still be in the field 20 years from now. That's the Colorado Tent difference.
