The 1890
The 1890
The 1890 is built from the same 10.10 oz Sunforger® cotton duck canvas as the Colorado Tent, cut and sewn by hand in our Denver, Colorado workshop. The price difference is assembly time, not material quality. If you don't need side windows, a sewn-in screen door, or a D-ring floor system, you don't need to pay for them.
Every 1890 ships complete with couplers, ropes, and stakes — organized into two bags so your kit stays together from season to season. The door frame has a Velcro outline sewn in from the factory; add our Screen Door Add-On when you want it, remove it when you don't.
Same 10.10 oz Sunforger® canvas. Same Denver workshop. Fewer features — not lesser quality. Lifetime warranty, same as everything we make.
Handmade in Denver, Colorado since 1890.

Important: New canvas tent setup
Set up your new tent and soak the seams with a hose 2–3 times before your first use. The needle holes will close as the cotton fibers swell. Do not apply waterproofing treatments — they seal the canvas and cause condensation. Full care guide →
