ArctiCreeL - Tackle Pocket
The ArctiCreel Tackle Pocket is the purpose-built companion to the Original ArctiCreel — a Belgian linen tackle organizer that keeps your flies, lures, and small gear accessible without digging through a bag. Attaches alongside the main creel for a clean, organized on-the-water setup.
Made from the same Belgian linen as the Original ArctiCreel, in our Denver, Colorado workshop. Heavy-duty brass hardware throughout.

The original evaporative fishing creel — since 1940.
Patented 1947 (U.S. Patent No. 2,555,128). Carried by Orvis and L.L. Bean for decades. Belgian linen. Still made exactly the same way in Denver, Colorado.
How evaporative cooling works
Wet the linen
Dampen the Belgian linen exterior of the creel before use. River water works perfectly.
Evaporation cools
As water evaporates from the linen, it draws heat from the interior — the same principle as sweating.
Catch stays fresh
No ice. No insulated pack. No added weight. Just physics — and Belgian linen that has been doing this job since 1940.
The ArctiCreel was carried by Orvis and L.L. Bean for decades — two of the most discerning outdoor retailers in America. That history is not incidental. It is proof of concept across millions of fishing days.
